Israel has extended tourist visas for Ukrainians until the end of May – the embassy

The same can happen in June – it all depends on martial law.

Citizens of Ukraine who are at the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine on February 24 were in Israel legally, as tourists can stay there until May 31. This was reported on the embassy's Facebook page.

“Citizens of Ukraine who were in Israel as tourists and plan to stay in the country before the end of hostilities in Ukraine should not visit the offices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to extend the tourist visa, as it has already been extended automatically until 31.05.2022 “, – said in a statement.

If martial law in Ukraine is continued, the Israeli Interior Ministry will take additional measures to extend the stay of Ukrainians.

“We would like to inform you that negotiations are underway on the possibility of temporary employment of Ukrainian citizens who are tourists. The embassy will inform later on possible areas of work and employment conditions,” the embassy said.
