In Ukraine, the next day after Easter will be working

Due to martial law, additional days off have been canceled.

There will be no weekends in Ukraine on the second day of Easter, as well as on May 2 and 9. This is provided by the Law “On the organization of labor relations in martial law”. Thus, Article 6 of the law establishes other rules on weekends for the period of martial law.

In the spring, Ukrainians should have extra rest:

  • April 25 (postponement of the day off from April 24 Easter);
  • May 2 (postponement of the day off from May 1);
  • May 9 (holiday).

However, due to martial law, these will be working days with payment in the usual way.
