Due to martial law, additional days off have been canceled.
There will be no weekends in Ukraine on the second day of Easter, as well as on May 2 and 9. This is provided by the Law “On the organization of labor relations in martial law”. Thus, Article 6 of the law establishes other rules on weekends for the period of martial law.
In the spring, Ukrainians should have extra rest:
- April 25 (postponement of the day off from April 24 Easter);
- May 2 (postponement of the day off from May 1);
- May 9 (holiday).
However, due to martial law, these will be working days with payment in the usual way.
