In the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers are trying to ban the sale of alcohol to Russian soldiers due to mass drunkenness — HUR

Drunkenness among the Russian military leads to numerous violations of discipline.

Invaders of Zaporizka Oblast are trying to ban the sale of alcohol to Russian soldiers. This is reported by the GUR of the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the personnel of the units of the occupying army of the Russian Federation, who are in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region, are marked by massive abuse of alcoholic beverages. This, in turn, leads to numerous violations of discipline and serious offenses.

In particular, cases of leaving duty stations, road accidents involving Russian servicemen while intoxicated, and staying at firing positions while intoxicated have become more frequent. Also, the occupiers began to violate the rules for the use of small arms more often.

As a result, the leadership of the commandant's office of the Russian Guard troops and the fake “military-civilian administration” of the Mykhailo community led by local collaborator Ivan Sushko were forced to intervene in the situation.

In particular, according to intelligence reports, a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages (including beer) to Russian servicemen was introduced as a precautionary measure in the territories of Mykhailivska and Rozdol communities.
