The President commended the soldiers for their courage, for their steadfastness in this area.
The armed forces of Ukraine hold positions in Donbas, where especially fierce fighting continues in the direction of Bakhmut. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in an evening video message.
“We are holding positions in Donbas, in particular, in the Bakhmut direction, where it is very difficult now, fierce battles are taking place. I would like to recognize the soldiers from the 93rd separate mechanized brigade “Holodny Yar “for courage, for stability in this direction,” the president noted.
He also thanked everyone involved in the protection of the Ukrainian sky.
“We are doing everything possible to protect the Ukrainian skies, and this is one of the highest priorities for our diplomats, to speed up the decisions of our partners to provide Ukraine with modern and effective air defense systems in sufficient numbers,” the president added.
