In the Russian city of Tver there was a fire in 2- Central Research Institute of Air and Space Defense, which reports to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and develops cruise missiles and air defense systems. The fire happened on April 21, the local newspaper Tverigrad reported.
Information about the fire to the Russian emergency services was received at 11:08 local time. A large number of rescuers and 14 ambulances arrived at the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, people jumped from the burning building through the windows.
According to another local newspaper Vesti Tver, there are certain victims, but their number and degree of damage are currently unknown.
Later, the Russian agency TASS, citing his interlocutor from one of the emergency services, reported seven dead in the fire. “At the moment, seven people have died,” he said. He added that this figure could rise. Also, according to him, the fire started in one of the offices. There was a lot of smoke in the building before the firefighters arrived.
