In Mykolayiv region, 2,867 civilian facilities – the regional state administration – were damaged

As a result of the Russian invasion in the Nikolaev area more than 2 000 apartment houses are destroyed.

Targeted shelling by the Russian occupiers of Mykolayiv region caused great damage to the civilian infrastructure of the region. Information on consequences of the Russian military invasion was published by the press service of the Nikolaev regional state administration.

More than two months the army of the Russian Federation partially or completely damaged 2867 objects of civil infrastructure, among them:

– housing facilities – 2089,
– medical institutions – 28,
– educational institutions – 144,
– cultural institutions – 64,
– objects of industrial enterprises – 24,
– life support facilities: gas – 109, electricity – 241, water – 8, heat supply – 7,
– other non-military facilities – 153.

In area works on restoration of gas and power supply are conducted, however almost one and a half thousand consumers remain without gas supply .

It was still not possible to restore the centralized water supply on the damaged Dnipro-Nikolaev water supply system. Citizens use imported water from storage tanks, artesian wells and through collective treatment and bottled drinking water.

Everyone can evacuate to safer regions of the country. Almost 20 thousand people have already left in the following directions: Mykolaiv-Palanka – 7183 people, Mykolaiv-Odesa – 6293 people, Mykolaiv – other settlements – 984 people.
