Previously, alcoholic beverages in the city could only be purchased until 16:00.
In Kyiv on May 16 allowed sale of alcoholic beverages in catering establishments from 11:00 to 22:00, said Mykola Povoroznyk, First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Citizens who actively visit public catering establishments are returning. Therefore, the city made such a decision not to encourage entrepreneurs to “black” the sale of alcohol. Because there will always be supply for demand, “the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration quoted Povoroznyk as saying.
According to him, the city is interested in receiving funds from the city budget, and this is possible only with maximum openness. At the same time, the sale of alcohol in Kyiv stores is allowed from 11:00 to 16:00.
It will be recalled that the curfew in Kyiv and Kyiv region now lasts from 23:00 to 05:00. The metro in the city is open from 06:00 to 22:00, and land public transport – from 06:00 to 22:30.

The sale of alcohol in Kyiv has been banned since March 1 . On April 1, strict restrictions were lifted and a time limit was introduced for the purchase of alcoholic beverages in the capital.
