Opposition wants resignation of Nikola Pashinyan.
Protests are taking place in the Armenian capital Yerevan for the third day opposition demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan, who is accused of Azerbaijan's concessions in the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement , Radio Svoboda reports.
On Sunday, the opposition held a crowded rally in France Square in Yerevan. Some opposition supporters set up a tent in the square and stayed there overnight. On Monday, the city began actions of disobedience with the blocking of traffic on the central streets of the capital. As a result, the police detained about 200 protesters.
In the morning of Tuesday protests continued – protesters blocked the Bagramyan Avenue Aven National Security Service buildings at the other end of Yerevan city center and other city streets.
Later, the police managed to bring the protesters to the sidewalk and open the road for traffic avenue. Clashes broke out between protesters and police. According to preliminary data, 70 protesters were detained this morning.
The opposition claims that the current Armenian government intends to make concessions to Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh, which explains the need to remove Pashinyan from power through public pressure.

The second war in Karabakh ended on November 10, 2020 with the signing of an agreement between Baku and Yerevan through the Kremlin.
