Energoatom also said that about 185,000 subscribers remain without gas supply.
Despite the fighting, Ukrainian power engineers are making efforts to restore energy supplies.
Over the past 24hrs, supplies have been restored to about 13.7 thousand consumers who were without electricity due to hostilities: in the Donetsk region – 5.6 thousand, in Zaporizhia – 5.3 thousand, in Mykolayiv – 2.3 thousand, in Kherson – 500 consumers.
As of April 25, about 843 settlements in Ukraine remained without electricity, a total of about 712.4 thousand consumers . As of May 1, about 835 settlements in Ukraine were without electricity , more than 208 thousand subscribers did not have gas supply.
