In 20 cities of Ukraine automatic fixing of violations on roads will resume work

Currently, 128 cameras are operational in 20 cities and 10 oblasts.

From May 16 on the highways of a number of cities will work devices for recording offenses, which will monitor compliance with traffic regulations in automatic mode. This was announced by Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Oleksiy Biloshitsky on Facebook. It is noted that the auto-fixation will work in the following cities:

  • Sumy,
  • Zhytomyr,

  • Ivano-Frankivsk,
  • Poltava,
  • Ternopil,
  • Khmelnytsky ,
  • Kropyvnytskyi,
  • Odessa,
  • Kremenchuk,
  • Cherkasy,
  • Chernivtsi,
  • Chernihiv,
  • Lutsk,
  • Lviv.

Auto-fixation will also work in the cities of Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano -Frankivska, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne oblasts.

Biloshitsky reminded that since the beginning of the war the automatic fixing cameras have been switched off, mostly for strategic purposes. But during the war we should not forget about road safety. Speeding remains one of the main causes of road accidents with injuries and deaths.
