The International Atomic Energy Agency intends to leave its representatives on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. This was announced by the Director General of the IAEA and the head of its mission at the ZANP, Raphael Grossi, according to the Russian media.
According to the BBC, the mission will be at the facility until September 3. Subsequently, its experts will begin to work out the possibility of permanent presence of the organization's supervisors in the area of the station.
Grossi also said that during the several hours of the delegation's work at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, it was possible to collect “a lot of important information”, without specifying what exactly it was about.
According to the general director, he saw the “key things” he wanted to see.
