The President spoke about the handing over of passports to young Ukrainians.
Today during a solemn meeting in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine , dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, the president presented combat awards to Ukrainian heroes. In a traditional evening address, Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced the list of awardees and thanked everyone who protects our country from Russian aggression.
The president also said that today in the Mariinsky Palace, a ceremony was held to hand over passports to young Ukrainian men and women.
The main document of a Ukrainian was received from the hands of the president by children who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities, young volunteers, winners of the Olympics, children of soldiers who defend Ukraine and children of those heroes who gave their lives for the independence of our country.
“An inspiring ceremony. Such children are the future of Ukraine, in their sincerity and intelligence. I am proud to be the president of such citizens!”, Zelensky emphasized.
Let us remind you that during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Zelenskyi stated that the College of Europe will be established within the “Presidential University” for preparation for work in the institutions of the European Union
