More than half a thousand Ukrainian citizens were rescued in the Luhansk region, who were evacuated from the war zone. Among them are many children, said the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai in his Telegram.

The largest number of those who were lucky enough to get out of the war-torn city – in Severodonetsk. We are talking about 223 citizens. 230 people were deported from Lisichansk, and 17 and 60 from Popasna and Rubezhnoye, respectively.

At the same time, people were evacuated from the last settlement in several stages. At first, only 30 people were able to be taken out, then 10 of those who managed to get out of the city center. Another 20 left in private cars.

“Now they are waiting for trains and three dozen hours of travel to a quiet place. Today they saved everyone who came to the gathering place,” Gaidai added.

We will remind, yesterday the Russian troops once again struck on Severodonetsk, having got to civilian objects. As a result, five houses were destroyed.

“Five houses located in one area of the city came under heavy fire from the Russian army. There are fires and numerous destructions. Almost all rescuers are involved. In one of the houses, two upper floors have been destroyed, in two more – there are almost no two entrances in each, ”the politician commented on the events of March 28.

And a few days ago in Lisichansk, Russian troops hit the “Point-U” missile. The missile strike came on a day when “silence mode” had to be observed.

The shelling in Severodonetsk on March 26 affected two residential and several country houses, as a result of the actions of Russian troops damaged the garages of the local ambulance station.

“Rescuers barely have time to put out the flames. The shelling has set fire to a house in Lisichansk, the mine where the workers are underground has been de-energized. Now they are trying to raise them to the surface. .
