According to the documents available in the German edition, the first tanks can be sent in the coming weeks, and the rest – by the end of the year. But for supplies at the initiative of the manufacturer of military equipment, you must obtain government permission. In view of this, the manufacturer has already appealed to the administration of Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Note that the Leopard 1A5 became the first tank made in Germany after the Second World War. Developments began in the 1950s together with the French, but after some time the cooperation stopped.
