The head of the OVA told in which directions in the Luhansk region the offensive of the armed forces is currently taking place.
Ukrainian defenders liberated the village of Grekivka from Russian invaders in Luhansk region. The information was confirmed by the head of the Luhansk OVA, Serhii Gaidai, in Telegram.
“Some of the fighters have already posted a photo with the name of this settlement. Therefore, it is not such a secret anymore. Indeed, Grekivka has been released. They are moving (ZSU – ed.) and in that direction,” Gaidai said.
The Deep State map, based on data from open sources, already shows the control of our fighters over the mentioned village.

He also clarified that after liberation of Lyman, Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military is advancing in the direction of the cities of Kreminna and Svatove. It is on the way to them that the main battles continue and the de-occupation of Luhansk region, which was reported earlier, begins.
Currently, the enemy army is trying to restrain the offensive of the Armed Forces. In particular, the occupiers actively mine roads and buildings, create many trenches, scatter anti-personnel mines in Kreminnaya and try to replenish their forces with reserves. According to Gaidai, the Russians are preparing for a long-term defense of the Luhansk region.
He noted that it will be more difficult for our defenders to liberate the region, because, unlike the situation in Kharkiv Oblast and Lyman, here the enemy had more time to prepare. In addition, the Russian military fled from the mentioned areas to the Luhansk region, creating a larger group. That is, they had time to prepare: dig a little deeper into the ground somewhere, tighten up the equipment, try to pull up some reserves. It will be more difficult in the Luhansk region,” explained the head of the OVA.
