France froze Russian assets by 23.7 billion euros

France has published a list of Russian assets worth 23, 7 billion euros or 25.6 billion US dollars blocked due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine , CNN reports with reference to the French Ministry of Finance.

According to CNN, the bulk of frozen assets are assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the value of which, according to the ministry, is 22.8 billion euros ($ 24.7 billion).

The list of blocked assets also includes 33 properties (in Antibes, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera) – 573.6 million euros ($ 621 million), 3 yachts – 125 million euros $ 135.3 million) and 6 helicopters – 60 million euros ($ 64.9 million).

In addition, 178 billion euros ($ 192.7 billion) were frozen in private bank accounts. According to French Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Mer, the frozen property belonged to 30 Russians, he did not name.
