Motorists are also advised to forget about autogas.
In an interview with the BBC, Sergei Kuyun, director of A-95 Consulting Group LLC, said that there would be fuel at Ukrainian gas stations.
According to him, the fuel market in Ukraine is stable, although with the peculiarities of the war in the country, as well as the diversification of sources of supply.
“I would not dramatize the situation, because the first shock has passed. This market is more or less stable,” he said.
According to Kuyun, today fuel for Ukraine is being sought throughout Europe and the situation in the country has returned to normal.
“I don't think there will be a surplus situation. I estimate that today there are less than half of the total number of gas stations operating before the war. But it is better to have such a regime than no fuel at all. Regarding diesel fuel, I do not see there were some restrictions . The situation, we can say, has returned to normal, “said the expert
He noted that in the coming month the market will finally stabilize. But the former diversity will no longer be on the market.
“I don't think there will be a complete stele of several brands of gasoline, several diesel fuel, this will no longer be the case. We will no longer have 92nd gasoline at all , because it is not produced in Europe. his remains were small. Now it is not necessary to convert the car to gas , this whole story is over, “he said.
According to Kuyun, the situation should be predicted in the future, taking into account the fact that logistics and supplies in Ukraine will be completely restructured, as all three sources from which Ukraine received imported fuel – Belarus, Russia and sea supply – are no longer relevant.
“Apart from supplies from the European Union, we have no other areas of supply,” he said.
Regarding fuel prices , given the rise in prices in Europe, according to Kuyun, it will depend on the level of taxes in Ukraine.
We will remind, Ukraine establishes new logistic chains of deliveries of gasoline and diesel and conducts negotiations with the largest world companies. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal in mid-March.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the abolition of value added tax and excise duty on fuel , and a few days later the Verkhovna Rada passed the necessary bill.
On March 19, it became known that Ukraine imported the first thousand tons of fuel from Europe to replace supplies from Belarus.
On March 19, gas stations massively reduced fuel prices. The average price of A-92 decreased by UAH 7.86 / l, to UAH 33.69 / l, A-95 – by UAH 7.84 / l, to UAH 34.42 / l, and the price of diesel fuel – to 37.17 UAH / l (-5.85 UAH / l).
The Cabinet of Ministers also issued a decree limiting the price of so-called “premium fuel “.
