For the first time in history, Ukraine won gold at the World Aerobics Championships

Ukrainka brought our country a historic award.

Ukrainian athlete Anastasia Kurashvili became world champion in sports aerobics, which takes place in Portugal.

Kurashvili qualified for the individual final with the first result, and in the decisive competition she did not leave any chances to her rivals.

Ukrainian judges estimated the exercise at 19,750 points. Sumchanka was ahead of Frenchwoman Melis Lanclos (19,700) and Romanian Daria Mihai (19,400).

It should be noted that the Ukrainian national team has never won a gold medal at the World Aerobics Championships. is one of the five types of gymnastics (along with sports and rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics and trampoline jumping).
