Men's team of the basketball club “Prometheus “ will spend the next season in the Latvian-Estonian league, reports Tribuna.com.
This information was confirmed by the club's president Volodymyr Dubynsky in an interview with journalists Andriy Belik and Oleksandr Proshuta.
Last season, 14 teams played in this tournament – six from Latvia and eight from Estonia.
Dubinsky also said that the men's team “Prometheus” has applied to participate in the European Cup and Basketball Champions League. The list of tournament participants will be announced on June 22 and 24, respectively.
It should be noted that in March, Vladimir Dubinsky announced the cessation of Prometheus due to Russia's military invasion and the need to help the army.
