Fierce battles are being fought on three fronts — British intelligence

The Russian army is once again faced with the challenge of regrouping.

During the last day fierce fighting< /strong> took place in three directions of the front in Ukraine: in the north near Kharkov, in the east in Donbas and in the south in the Kherson region.

According to British intelligence, Russia probably planned to make maximum efforts for the offensive on Bakhmut in Donbas, but commanders faced a dilemma: deploy operational reserves to support this offensive or defend against Ukraine's offensive in the south.

“Multiple simultaneous threats on a 500-kilometer front will test Russia's ability to coordinate an operational plan and redistribute resources among multiple force groups. At the beginning of the war, Russia's inability to do this was one of the main reasons for the poor performance of the military,” analysts of the British Ministry of Defense noted.
