From July 30, Ukraine will export 250 MW every day.
European network of electricity transmission system operators ENTSO-E allowed a 2.5-fold increase in the export of Ukrainian electricity to Europe, the chairman of the board of NAEC “Ukrenergo” Volodymyr Kudrytskyi reported. From July 30, Ukraine will supply 250 MW daily.
“For us, this is an expected decision, since from the beginning of the resumption of exports to the EU, from the first 100 MW, we received daily reports from ENTSO-E technical specialists, which confirmed that the export of Ukrainian electricity in the power grid synchronized with continental Europe is stable, there is no negative impact on the system “, Kudrytskyi comments.
In his opinion, Ukrainian electricity will help Europe replace toxic Russian gas, and Ukraine will receive additional funds to prepare for the heating season.
“Thank you to our European partners for their cooperation work and common understanding of the role of the Ukrainian energy industry in strengthening European energy security,” he concluded.
