During the CSTO meeting, Lukashenko spoke about the “dismemberment of Ukraine”, but did not blame Putin, but the West

He has traditionally criticized countries that help us resist the Kremlin's aggression.

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting of CSTO leaders called on member states to act as a united front , arguing that it is not just Russia that must fight NATO enlargement. His words are quoted by BelTa.

Lukashenko believes that this unity would serve to prevent sanctions against Russia and Belarus. He also said that the United States and Western countries were allegedly sabotaging talks with Russia.

“We expected the West and the United States to take advantage of Russia's offer of security guarantees. Sooner or later, this process will begin anyway, but what remains of Ukraine and our region is a question,” he said.

The Belarusian dictator has traditionally criticized countries that help Ukraine resist Russian aggression.

“For this (continuation of the conflict – ed.) Ukraine continues to be pumped with weapons. The goals are clear – to weaken Russia as much as possible by drowning it in this war. Or maybe to make it flare up wider. “The trend in Ukraine today is the dismemberment of Ukraine. Thousands of units have already been set up to enter Ukraine and defend it under the guise of peacekeepers,” he added.
