Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation in Lviv searched the relatives of the People's Deputy suspected of treason, Viktor Medvedchuk and People's Deputy Taras Kozak , reports the DBR. Searches are being carried out in apartments, houses and industrial enterprises belonging to Kozak's family, as well as to Viktor Medvedchuk's brother Serhiy.

Relatives of Kozak and Medvedchuk are the subjects of criminal proceedings for illegal sand mining in two quarries in Lviv region, “the DBR said.
Law enforcement officers want to establish the illegally acquired property of Medvedchuk and Kozak, as well as their relatives. The DBR also aims to seize this property and document the involvement of deputies in financing the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine.
“Investigative actions continue. Only during a search of one of the apartments belonging to Taras Kozak's wife, investigators seized more than 108 thousand US dollars, 8.5 thousand euros, 18.6 thousand Russian rubles, real estate documents and bank cards. ” – added to the DBR.
