Experts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believe that these measures will not solve the deep problems of the aggressor country.
At a meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the head of the Kremlin said that the government should ensure active competition between manufacturers of military weapons.
“The calls of Russian President Vladimir Putin to create a competitive Russian military industry are far from the real problems of the Russian supply chain and military -industrial base” – says the ISW report.

At most, Putin's intentions to revive the domestic military industry contrast with the real steps taken by the state leadership to continue military operations in Ukraine.
