Companies operating in Russia will stop insuring in Japan

These are Japanese companies operating in Russia.

Japanese insurance companies specializing in property insurance , suspended the conclusion of new contracts and the continuation of existing ones with companies from Japan operating in the Russian market. This is what the Russian media write about.

In particular, the company is called Tokio Marine Nichido.

It is noted that this is primarily due to difficulties in conducting transactions in light of the sanctions imposed on Russia and Russian companies.

Now, if Japanese companies decide to continue their activities in Russia, they may need to enter into property insurance contracts with local companies.

According to Tokyo Shoko Research, in March this year in Russia operated about 200 companies. Japan's Foreign Trade Development Organization (JETRO) says about 50 companies are still operating in Russia.
