The head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell held talks with the minister Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China. In particular, during the meeting, the diplomats discussed bilateral relations and the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine. Borrell announced this on Twitter.
“Discussed EU-China relations with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi,” Borrell wrote.
The head of European diplomacy also added that he “called on China to play a more constructive role in resolving Russia's war against Ukraine.” Borrell also called for an end to disinformation about the causes and catastrophic global economic consequences of Russia's invasion.
