Biden signed a law to stop oil imports from Russia to the United States

US President Joe Biden signed the Law on Termination Imports of Russian Oil, which bans energy imports from the Russian Federation , and the Law on the Suspension of Normal Trade Relations with Russia and Belarus, Voice of America.

Signed by the White House the laws provide for further strengthening of trade and human rights sanctions against the aggressor and his ally. These bills were passed by the US Congress the day before.
