Belarus has banned the export of salt, sugar, flour and pasta

Belarusian government imposes export ban salt, sugar and other groceries due to increased demand in border areas, Interfax reports.

It is noted that now Belarus can export no more than 1 kg of salt, sugar, buckwheat, wheat flour, certain types of cereals rice, semolina, oats, oatmeal, millet). The export of vegetable oil (up to 1 liter), canned meat, dairy and fish, except for canned baby food (up to 3 cans) is also limited.

The restriction does not apply to goods purchased from duty-free shops located at checkpoints across the state border of Belarus. It is also possible to export such goods without restrictions in cases determined by the regional executive committees.
