Ukraine's Economic Security Bureau has focused its work on finding business related to Russia. The bureau is looking for assets so that they can be sold for the benefit of Ukraine. This is stated in the message of BEB.
There are already some achievements. In particular, based on the results of inspections of enterprises transporting fuels and lubricants in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region, BEB employees established the property of one of the enterprises of the Russian Federation.
“We are talking about 29 tank cars for the transportation of liquefied gas worth a total of 1,160,000 US dollars (more than 35 million hryvnias in equivalent). This information was sent to the State Property Fund of Ukraine and Ukrzaliznytsia. Currently, at the initiative of BEB, the procedure of nationalization of this property is underway, ”the statement reads.
In addition, in Ivano-Frankivsk, the Bureau staff installed 2 railway cars, which also delivered goods from the Russian Federation to one of the enterprises. The cars are currently at one of the stations of the Lviv Railway in the settling tank. After confirmation of the owner, the issue of their forced seizure will be initiated.
