The world-famous street artist Banksy created new graffiti in the village of Borodyanka, Kyiv region, which was liberated from the Russian occupiers at the beginning of April, but suffered significant destruction as a result of hostilities. The artist published photos of his work on his Instagram page.
The artist painted graffiti on the wall of one of the multi-story residential buildings that were almost completely destroyed by the Russian troops.
The work depicts a gymnast, as if performing an exercise on the ruins of a building, which abut against a wall that was not damaged by enemy blows.
Banksy left a short caption under three photos with a new drawing: “Borodianka, Ukraine”.

In addition, photojournalist Ed Rahm, who is currently in Ukraine, noticed two more graffiti in the Kyiv region, executed in a similar style. He suggested that these could also be Banksy's works, or their imitation.
The first, also in Borodyanka, depicts a boy throwing an adult man to the floor. Both are dressed in the uniform of judokas. According to the journalist, this may be an allusion to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was deprived of membership by the International Judo Federation, as well as the status of honorary president and ambassador of the organization.

On another graffiti found in the city of Irpin, you can also see a gymnast. This girl performs exercises with a tape while standing on the edge of a hole left in the house by an enemy shell. A bandage is visible on her neck.
