Police have already opened a criminal case under the article on traffic violations, which resulted in the death of several people.
As a result of collision of a bus, A car and a fuel truck, which happened the day before in Rivne region , killed 26 people, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. In addition, 12 people were injured in the accident.
“A total of 26 people died in the accident: 24 passengers and two drivers (minibus and bus). 12 people were injured: 11 passengers of the bus and the driver of the fuel truck. All passengers are between 17 and 69 years old. The youngest was about to turn 18 on May 12, “the statement reads.
It is stated that all participants of the accident are residents of Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Khmelnytsky regions.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs , the driver of the Mercedes-Benz Vito car that caused the accident, maneuvered to overtake another vehicle and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a fuel truck. The identity of the dead driver of the minibus has not been established yet.
