Arestovich: “Russia began to look for traitors who are guilty of the failure of the war against Ukraine”

An adviser to the head of the president's office said Putin was trying to win.

Adviser to the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovych He noted that Russia has begun to look for those responsible for the failure of the war against Ukraine and treats such people only as traitors.

“There is one form of guilt in Russia, as the Russian opposition assures us – betrayal. In Russia, you can't just be guilty. You must betray someone,” Arestovich said on Radio NV.

According to Arestovich, since Russian President Vladimir Putin does not shine victory in the war against Ukraine, the Kremlin began searching for culprits inside the country.

Russia's military losses of manpower are quite significant and do not allow a full-scale attack on Ukrainian positions. They are trying to restore the combat effectiveness of the units by recruiting mercenaries and people discharged from military service.
