Another scam: fraudsters steal bank data under the guise of “UN financial aid”

Scammers simulated the site “TSN”

Ukrainians are suffering from another “fraudulent scheme” designed for their gullibility. Fraudsters are now extorting bank data under the guise of “UN financial aid”. This was announced by the government team responding to computer emergencies CERT-UA.

According to CERT-UA, a fraudulent page simulating the site “TSN” was found on the social network Facebook.

“The page invites you to take part in the survey by following the link and receive” financial assistance under the UN social program. ” In the future, the user will be asked to provide personal data and make an additional payment, as a result of which payment card data will be compromised, “- said in a statement.

CERT-UA advises never to enter payment card details on unknown and suspicious web -sites. You should also set up cash flow controls (SMS notifications, transaction limits).

If your payment card information is still entered incorrectly on a fraudulent website, it should be blocked as soon as possible.
