An oil depot is on fire in occupied Shakhtarsk

At least 12 fuel tanks are on fire.

In the temporarily occupied Shakhtarsk An oil depot is on fire in the Donetsk region. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The occupying authorities of the city captured by Russia in 2014 declare an alleged attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The so-called Ministry of Emergency Situations “DPR” reported that 10 fire trucks are trying to extinguish the fire, and a fire train from Ilovaisk was sent to the scene of the incident.

Local Telegram channels are spreading photos and videos of a large-scale fire that occurred near the railway station. The damage from the fire can be seen from nearby settlements.

StratCom ZSU channel reports that there was an explosion of fuel tanks at the base, which were intended for refueling the equipment of the entire Donetsk military group. The adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andrushchenko, reported on 12 tanks.
