Ambassador of Germany: “Nord Stream-2” we slowed down a few weeks before the war

Dependence on one energy supplier, namely Russia, is a “very bad idea” for Germany, Anka Feldguzen is convinced.

Asked what prevented Germany from taking preventive sanctions and freezing Nord Stream 2, the German ambassador said that no one wanted to impose preventive sanctions. But the project was “slowed down a few weeks before the war.” This is what Anka Feldgusen told the Glavkom in an interview with. “Putin's rhetoric made it clear what the risk might be due to the possible commissioning of this pipeline. And the suspension of PP-2 was one of our steps to get rid of energy dependence on Russian resources,” she said.
