“We ask why you are writing this, why you can't ask yours. They say: they are lying to us. ”
As of today, Ukraine has received about 32 thousand appeals from Russian citizens looking for their relatives who are involved in the war against Ukraine. Such figures were announced by the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Viktor Andrusiv on Channel 24.
He clarified that the main The number of appeals was in early March.
“Some 12,000 appeals – maybe even more – we received on our hotline, which was created just for Russian citizens. And about 20,000 appeals we received in a special bot from Telegram-channel “Search for your own”, – said Andrusiv.

Russians leave the contacts and details of their soldiers, husbands, and sons they are looking for. Relatives of the Russian military have no information, they understand that they are not given all the information:
“They understand that they are being lied to. We ask why you are writing this (requests for information about soldiers – ed.), Why you can not ask your own. They say: they are lying to us. That is, there is such an understanding. And given such volumes, this understanding is only growing in Russia. It's just not shown. ”
