This spring, the Russians went into total austerity. This is according to the results of a study published by the Russian news agency TASS. – said in the study.
In particular:
- 13% of Russians surveyed will save on vacation trips this year,
- 12% on cafes and restaurants,
- products – 9%,
- clothing, footwear and beauty salons – 7%,
- technology – 3%,
- furniture – 2%,
- repair work – 2%,
- alcohol – 1% ”.
According to the survey results:
- one third of respondents reduced costs by 10-20%,
- 21 percent of respondents – by 5-10%,
- 8 percent of respondents – by 20-30%,
- 7 percent of respondents spent 30% or more less.

Rising prices were named the main reason for the savings of 61% of respondents. 16% are trying to save more because they are afraid of the unknown. 8% of respondents simply ran out of money, 6% had salary problems, and 5% had problems with work.
