The Pentagon has released a full list of what will be included in the new support package.
The United States of America on Thursday, November 10, will announce the provision of additional military aid to Ukraine to resist the Russian invasion in the total amount of 400 million dollars. It was announced by the US president's national security advisor Jake Sullivan during a briefing.
According to him, the new support will be an “important contribution” to the defense of Ukrainian skies.
In particular, the package will include missiles for the Hawk air defense system, the transfer of which was announced earlier, and four self-propelled Avenger air defense systems equipped with Stinger anti-aircraft missiles.
UPD: The US Ministry of Defense clarified that the announced support will also include:
- additional ammunition for HIMARS;
- 100 highly mobile HMMWV armored personnel carriers;
- 21 thousand conventional 155-mm artillery shells;
- 500 high-precision 155-mm artillery shells;

- 10 thousand 120-mm mortar ammunition;
- 400 grenade launchers;
- small arms and more than 20 million cartridges for them;
- detonating equipment for destruction of obstacles;
- protective equipment for cold weather;
- optics.

Sullivan added that this aid will be an addition to the air defense means for our country, announced by partners and allies of the States within the contact group on military of support to Ukraine, which is headed by Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin – the “Ramstein format” group.
