A “silent killer” was detained in Zhytomyr – he poisoned the victims with a neuroleptic

Police have been hunting the criminal since 2018.

A resident of Vinnytsia region in 2018 in Zhytomyr ” treated two women to coffee with clozapine, and when they fainted, he took away their valuables. One of the victims died. The prosecutor's office of the Zhytomyr region reported about it today.

The coffee brought by their new acquaintance contained the strong neuroleptic clozapine, which has antipsychotic and sedative effects.

After a serving of clozapine, one woman fainted and her friend died. The criminal removed gold jewelry from his victims, took away mobile phones and their handbags. The total prey of the criminal is estimated at UAH 50,000.
