< A court in Moscow fined Radio Liberty 18 million rubles for refusing to delete information, access to which is "subject to restriction." This was reported by Russia's Interfax, citing the press service of the Tver court in Moscow.
Radio Svoboda was found guilty in 18 cases of not restricting access to content subject to such restrictions. Accordingly, for each of these cases, the publication received a fine of one million rubles and in total it turned out to be 18 million rubles. According to the current official exchange rate, this amount is about 27 thousand dollars.
Earlier, the court fined Radio Svoboda 15 million and 12.8 million rubles for the same violations.
Radio Svoboda has been held administratively liable for refusing to remove information about the war in Ukraine and the death toll among both civilians and Russian soldiers.
