Especially for Ukraine, they were converted into autonomous resuscitators.
The first batch arrived in Ukraine from Great Britain < STANAG 4569 armored ambulances to rescue wounded soldiers and civilians from the affected area.
Currently, cars purchased with the support of the Victor and Elena Pinchuk Foundation are located in the distribution center of the Ministry of Health I am in Lviv and will soon go to the hottest spots on the front. Thanks to them, medics will be able to gain access to the most dangerous places for the evacuation of soldiers and civilians from the battlefield.
These ambulances used to belong to the British Ministry of Defense. The largest British manufacturer of ambulances – Venari Group has converted them to resuscitation vehicles. Employees of the company worked 24/7 to re-equip these cars for the needs of Ukraine during the war.
“Medsanbat instructors have been working in hotspots since the first days of the invasion, and our task was to provide them with everything they needed. Armored ambulances are the next stage, which allows doctors to evacuate the wounded from hot spots and deliver them to medical facilities in a timely manner, “said Olena Pinchuk.
The Foundation thanked the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, Venari Group and British MP Andrew Percy for support and assistance in implementing this project and providing Ukraine with such necessary ambulances to save our citizens.
