According to the mother of one of the sailors of the sunken missile cruiser “Moscow”, about 40 people died during the incident, many wounded with severed limbs. This was reported by Russia's Novaya Gazeta Europe, citing an anonymous conversation with relatives of the servicemen who were on the ship. and sailors were evacuated. But in support of Ukraine's position that the flagship was hit by Neptune missiles with a launch range of up to 280 km, the woman said: Just so the fire would not have happened. There are dead, there are wounded, missing. My son called me when they were given phones. They have documents and phones on the cruiser. He calls me and cries from what he saw. It was scary. It is clear that not all survived. They tried to put out the fire on their own after three Neptune missiles hit the cruiser.
