Polish orchestras represented by the Polish Philharmonic Association , as a sign of solidarity with the people of Ukraine recorded the legendary “Melody” by Myroslav Skoryk – the spiritual anthem of our country. Recordings of the work took place during concerts given by orchestras in March-April.

One and a half weeks before the recording, I received a call from the Sopot Philharmonic with an offer to record Skoryk's Melody during the charity concert “Solidarity with Ukraine”, which took place on April 12, 2022. For my part, I offered to play another work by Myroslav Skoryk – “Carpathian Rhapsody”. Thanks to violist Volodymyr Mykytka, he managed to get a score for solo violin and orchestra. It was very nice to feel how the orchestra and conductor Wojciech Rajski experience this music during the rehearsal, and especially during the concert. I was also very touched by the reaction of the audience, which warmly applauded Skoryk's wonderful music, and it seemed to me that the whole of Ukraine, which, despite all the tragedy, is fighting for its freedom and independence. I am very happy to have the opportunity to tell Europe about Ukraine with the help of music … “, he shared.
