were awarded the Heinrich Heine Prize from the German city of Dusseldorf. As reported by DW, the prize in the amount of 50,000 euros will be awarded on September 13 during the award ceremony on the occasion of the 225th anniversary of Heine's birth.

According to the mayor of Dusseldorf, Stefan Keller, the city decided to award the award to “a determined supporter European values, devoted to a free and independent Ukraine with close ties to Europe.” He also added that the award is a reminder of the need to “continue to show solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.” named after Heinrich Heine was founded in 1972 in honor of the 175th anniversary of the birth of the famous German poet. It is awarded once every two years to people who contribute to social and political progress through their intellectual activity, and serve international mutual understanding.
