The Ukrainian boxer will defend his titles.
Late in the evening on August 20, the Ukrainian world boxing champion in the super heavy weight Olexandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) will hold a rematch against the British Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs).
On ZN.UA will be the online broadcast of the Oleksandr Usyk – Anthony Joshua fight is available.
In Ukraine, the live fight will be available for free, as Usyk bought the rights to the telecast and transferred them to Ukrainian broadcasters. The fight will be shown live by the MEGOGO video service on the interactive channel “MEGOGO Hong”, as well as the regional channels “Public Broadcasting” and the TV channel “2+2”.
The rematch will take place in the city of Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Jeddah Arena Superdome. The evening of boxing will start at 6:00 p.m. with the undercard matches, and the main fight will take place approximately after 11:00 p.m. Kyiv time.
The first fight between the boxers took place on September 25 last year in London and ended with Usyk's victory by unanimous decision of the judges. Then the Ukrainian took the IBF, IBO, WBA Super and WBO world championship titles from Joshua. All of them will be at stake for a rematch, as well as the belt of the world champion according to The Ring magazine.
Aleksandr Usyk has already guaranteed himself a record fee in his career. He will receive $40 million for the upcoming fight, as will his opponent. Also, both boxers will receive a percentage of the sales of paid broadcasts (PPV).
