FIFA has presented the official ball of the World Cup, which will be held in 2022 in Qatar.
The ball was named “Al Rihla”, which translates from Arabic as “journey”. The design of the ball is inspired by the unique architecture of Qatar and the national flag of the country. The technical sponsor has traditionally been the German company adidas.
It will be recalled that the Ukrainian national team took second place in its qualifying group after France, beating the teams of Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kazakhstan.
Due to the Russian invasion, our semi-final clash against Scotland was postponed to June.
In the possible final, the Ukrainian national team will also meet Wales on the road.
The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022 in seven cities: Doha, Lusail, Al Wakrah, Al Khore, Al Ryan, Umm Salalah and Madinat al-Shamale.
