The crew of the SpaceX Crew-3 mission has successfully returned to Earth

Capsule of the manned spacecraft Crew Dragon with the International Space Station astronauts on board, successfully landed in the Gulf of Mexico. According to Space.com, the astronauts spent 176 days in orbit.

The return of Crew-3 completed a series of three space events hosted by SpaceX. So, on April 25, it launched the first commercial crew on the ISS, and 27 – Crew-4 mission with new astronauts.

Currently, the ISS remains three NASA astronauts – Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines and Jessica Watkins, Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergei Korsakov, as well as ESA astronaut Samantha Christophoretti.

The Crew-3 mission was launched on November 10, 2021. During their stay on the ISS, the team's astronauts conducted hundreds of scientific experiments, including testing new methods of growing crops and printing bandages from skin cells. Maurer also conducted a series of “Space Kiss” experiments aimed at finding ways to further support life in space exploration.

Recall, Roscosmos Chairman Dmitry Rogozin said that Russia will stop cooperation with its partners in the framework of the International Space Station . It is likely that the space agency will take such a step because of the sanctions imposed on the aggressor country due to its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
