Oleksiy Sereda won the gold medal at the tournament in Rome.
Ukrainian diver Olexii Sereda became the winner of the European Championship in water sports in Rome.
The 16-year-old athlete took first place in jumping from a 10-meter platform. Wednesday scored 493.55 and was 34.55 points ahead of the closest pursuer, Noah Williams from Great Britain.

For Oleksiy Sereda, this is already the second individual gold at the adult CE in his career. At the age of 13, he won in the same event at the continental tournament in Kyiv in 2019. Sereda also has a gold medal in mixed at the 2021 European Championship in Budapest.
The European Aquatics Championship in Rome has already ended. The national diving team of Ukraine won seven medals – one gold, five silver and one bronze.
