“Miners” signed Lucas Taylor.
Donetsk “Shakhtar” announced the signing of Brazilian defender Lucas Taylor.
The 27-year-old football player moved to the Ukrainian team from Greek PAOK on loan. The agreement is for one season.
Lucas Taylor moved from Brazil to Ukraine in 2018 and joined the Lviv club, after which he played for the Portuguese Estoril Praia and Dnipro-1. Last year, he moved from the Dnipro club to PAOK.
Remember, almost all the star legionnaires left Shakhtar due to the war. Before Taylor's transfer, the team consisted of striker Lassina Traore and midfielder Neven Jurasek, who joined the team in July.
Miners will start the UPL season on August 23 with a match against Metalist 1925.
